Kona Palm Trees in Black and White

These were shot in Kona, HI
I lied on the ground and shot up! It was a cloudy/moody day and it was just screaming for a
black and white silhouette treatment!! I don't know if anyone else loves it, but I do!!  ;D

Theme this week: TREES!

Also a submission for:

and assignment:

I love this perspective - nothing better than looking up into palm trees! That's the one shot I didn't include in all of my pictures this morning.

As moody as the day was, the B&W wasn't that far off from the color... LOL!! We had walked FOREVER and my feet were killing me. I found a nice spot on the grass and lied back closing my eyes... When I opened them, I said, "Honey! Hand me the camera!! I just HAD to SNAP it! Glad I did. ;D

MarAnne: Thanks and YW! <3
